Accessibility statement

Last updated: 5 May 2026.

The British Helicopter Association is committed to making this website accessible to as wide an audience as possible, including people with disabilities. We aim for conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.

What we do

  • Use semantic HTML, headings and landmarks for structure.
  • Provide a "Skip to main content" link.
  • Use sufficient colour contrast and visible focus styles.
  • Ensure the site is keyboard-navigable.
  • Use scalable layout that works on mobile, tablet and desktop.
  • Use plain English wherever possible.
  • Avoid pop-ups beyond the essential cookie notice.

Known limitations

If you find content that is difficult to access, please let us know and we will do our best to address it. As a small website we do not currently publish detailed audit results, but we welcome feedback.
